Pierre Brisebois

Pierre Brisebois has served as head coach of the McGill varsity golf program since 2023.  A member of the PGA of Canada for more than four decades, he has been honoured over the years as a teacher emeritus of the PGA of Quebec where he has been named Teacher of the Year. He is a recipient of the National Post Top 50 Teachers in Canada award, and Golf Magazine Top Regional Teachers in America. He was also a finalist for Quebec Provincial Coach of the Year (over all sports). As an administrator, he served as manager of the Enterprise of the Year at the National Tourism Grand Prix for the development, innovation and operation of the Tremblant Golf Academy.
 
Since beginning his coaching career, Brisebois has mentored more than 50,000 golfers of all levels. He has taught with indoor and outdoor golf schools in Tremblant, Blainville, Laval, Longueuil, and Montreal. As a member of the Canadian Coaching Association, he was involved in the development of the National Player as a collaborator at the creation of the Athlete Long Term Development Program for Sports Canada, Golf Canada and the PGA of Canada. He was involved at the provincial level as director of the Player Development Program. He was director of the board of directors of the Fédération Québecoise de Golf, and president of the Teachers' Division of the PGA of Quebec.
 
Hired by Intrawest to set up Golf Tremblant, the first ever internationally renowned Academy in Canada, he developed the operating structures and led the overall operation from 1999 to 2003. Brisebois left Tremblant in 2003 to establish a new golfing academy at the Master of Mont-Tremblant (ranked by Golf Digest as the Best New Golf Course in America), a Clublink Premium Club which is the largest golf course owner and manager in Canada.
